UPDATE ON IBIZA PROJECT: What Dynamic Packaging and Distribution Solution for the Leisure Travel Booking Industry is all about
In the later part of 2006, the Ibiza project was born with the primary objective of developing and marketing a state-of-the-art dynamic packaging and distribution solution for the leisure travel booking industry.
Dynamic packaging is the ability to combine internal and external offerings in real time, with a single transaction. IBIZA encompasses all the core functionality of Accovia’s current Logitours product, but with new features, flexibility, scalability and adaptability. This new solution will integrate with internal and external sources of sales and procurement.
Two core principles guide Accovia’s software development efforts, based on the existing and future priorities set by our customers, the current market needs, as well as its evolution, based on market research and our own industry knowledge. IBIZA is an open and modular solution powerful enough to answer the business needs of the complex travel booking industry, but flexible and open enough to enable each customer to meet their own business requirements.
The advancement of this new software solution is validated through regular focus groups held with our clients who are consulted at multiple stages of the product development process, which enables us to respond effectively to the rapidly evolving business challenges of the travel industry.
Canadian travel distribution has evolved as more and more Travel Producers ( TO’s) are looking for cost efficient ways to distribute their products, mainly to travel agencies, but also to OTAs and, ultimately, directly to the customer.
Accovia’s new platform is a strong alternative with the best technology, enhanced features and reduced distribution costs.
