Gilles Létourneau, President

Appointed in 2006 as President and Chief Executive Officer of Accovia, Gilles Létourneau has over 18 years experience in the evolution of the Québec-based IT industry. Mr. Létourneau created and cultivated a number of successful companies, including Conceptum, Cognicase, Walter Ego and MSDS Solutions Inc. In 2004, seeking to accelerate its growth, Conceptum joined forces with GFI Informatique, a French group that wanted to expand its North American presence. GFI Solutions is the result of this alliance.

Recognized as a visionary leader for his dynamic and transparent management skills, Gilles Létourneau brings unprecedented leadership to the company.

Michel Simard, Vice-President, Technology and Operations

Joining the company in May 2006, Michel Simard brings 22 years of technical, management and business development experience to Accovia's management team, including 11 years in the field of IT consulting. During that time, Mr. Simard held a variety of leadership positions within the CGI Group and was instrumental in financial growth of Mediagrif Interactive Technologies while serving as the company’s Operations Manager. Recognized for his communication skills, Mr. Simard has given academic conferences on technological change management at the HEC (École des Hautes Études Commerciales).

Michel Simard holds Bachelor's degrees in Public Administration and Business Administration, both from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He is a member of the Ordre des Administrateurs agréés du Québec, Management Consulting sector.

He is known at Accovia for his open, direct and hands-on management style.

Paul Robillard, Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Mr. Robillard joined Accovia as Vice-President, Clients, bringing two decades of experience in the high-technology industry. Mr. Robillard's expertise in sales and channel management, strategic planning, project and program management, business process optimization, change management, and coaching, is widely acknowledged. Previously, Mr. Robillard was senior advisor for AGTI Consulting Services Inc. and SHL Systemhouse, and held held executive positions with BCE Emergis, Netscape Canada, Bell Canada , Worldlinx (Infornet) and IBM. Mr. Robillard is a member of the International Association of Coaches. He holds a Bachelor of Finance and Marketing from the Hautes Études Commerciale in Montreal and a Bachelor of Computer Science and Management from UQÀM (Université du Québec in Montréal).

Paul Robillard is in charge of managing spearheading initiatives, as well as of the strategy in business development.

Marie-Carmen Velasco, Vice-President, Human Resources and Organizational Development

Ms. Velasco joined Accovia in January 2000 as Vice-President, Human Resources and Organizational Development, prior to which she worked at Iberia Airlines as Director of Human Resources and Administration. She also oversees strategic partnership development and has build a solid reputation as a hands-on leader able to quickly assess complex situations, develop effective strategies and build motivated organizations, while maintaining sound administrative practices.

An accredited member of the Ordre des Professionnels en Ressources Humaines du Québec, Ms. Velasco is recognized for her passion. Her engaging leadership style contributes to creating a dynamic corporate culture at Accovia.

Patrick Bleu, General Manager, Accovia France S.A.R.L.

General Manager of Accovia France since its inception in January 1995, Mr. Bleu brings over 20 years of entrepreneurial and executive management experience to the Accovia team, and is credited with the successful introduction of Accovia's products and services in France. Prior to joining Accovia, Mr. Bleu spent 10 years at TARANIS, SSII, a French company specializing in systems for vacation providers, where he served in various software development and marketing positions. Mr. Bleu is a graduate from l'Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Grenoble.
