UCPA (National Association for Outdoor Sports Centers) is a non-profit organization as defined by the French law of 1901, an association of youth organizations unique in France made of corporate bodies, created in 1965. It is run by government bodies, including Ministries with responsibility for Health, Young People, Sport and Community Service. The UCPA organization views its humanistic and socially aware program as an extension of public services, and participates to the implementation of public policies aimed at the young.
UCPA has three missions, which are divided into three businesses in the service of all young Europeans, aged 7 to 39 years:
- Sporting holidays
- Sporting activities
- Professional trainings in sports and entertainment careers
Dynamism, plurality, accessibility, social solidarity, tolerance and personal development are the core values of UCPA.
